Description
A young white tailed deer buck is joined by a doe for some breakfast one early August morning in a field just outside Chelsea, Que. It wasn't summer, though, the feeling of change was in the air as fall was just a couple days away.
The two spotted me at the same time. They stood still, alert but not alarmed, as you can tell by their tails. The idea was to let me know that they were aware that they saw me. Once they established that, they went back to grazing.
